Gorji is chef-owner of Canary By Gorji, Gorji Gourmet Foods™ and author of Zing! Cookbook. He will prepare his signature New Mediterranean Cuisine on the Taste of Travel Stage, followed by a book signing.
While attendees are tasting samples of the finished dish, he will be sharing tips from his cookbook and techniques that he uses in his fine dining restaurant Canary By Gorji, a small 8-table New Mediterranean restaurant known for its emphasis on food and dining as well as Gorji’s innovative policies. There are no TVs, they can’t accommodate young children and they don’t turn tables to take more patrons. In 2016, it became the first No Tipping restaurant in Dallas, TX.
