Chef Gorji and Whole Foods Market serve up taste treats made with award-winning Gorji Gourmet Sauces at Chefs For Farmers Festival, The Main Event, Sunday, September 25, 2016 in Lee Park, Dallas, Texas. The culinary festival features more than 60 chefs, 35 farmers and artisans, and 50 wineries, distilleries, and breweries.

Gorji Gourmet “Tastes Just Picked”

Gorji began bottling his gourmet sauces in late 2006, in response to demand from customers at his local restaurant. Diners often described them as “Tastes Just Picked,” so that became the slogan for his entire product line of Mediterranean-inspired sauces, marinades, dips and spreads. Each recipe has rich and complex flavor, as if it simmered on the stove for hours — yet it just takes minutes to open the lid and serve.

The line of sauces have been on the shelves of DFW area Whole Foods Market since the beginning. The chef and grocer have partnered on many events from chef cooking classes to special dinners featuring their local ingredients.

The three day culinary event Chefs For Farmers shows off the talents of Dallas’s best chefs and food artisans while celebrating the farmers that make great food possible. Events benefit The Family Place, Café Momentum and North Texas Food Bank.
