Gorji, an engineer-turned-chef has lived on three continents, and has just celebrated 30 years calling Texas home, fourteen of those as chef-owner of Canary By Gorji. In the evenings Tuesday through Saturday, the back-to-back Texas Steak Champion can be found in his kitchen cooking for his guests at Canary By Gorji.
Early each day, Gorji heads out, stopping at farmers markets and local specialty stores selecting ingredients for that evening’s menu.
